Hmm… Not too sure how to describe myself objectively. The last time I checked (10 Aug 2007) I was an ENFJ under the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (try out the test here).
Qualitative analysis of my type:
- slightly expressed extravert (22%)
- moderately expressed intuitive personality (50%)
- moderately expressed feeling personality (50%)
- moderately expressed judging personality (33%)
Besides that… I’m pretty much someone who walks on the borderline of contradicting stereotypes. You can’t really place me in any one stereotype because the next thing you learn about me may have you think that I should be its exact opposite (usually based on likes and dislikes or just something I like to do).
I’m secretly more emo than hyper (although it doesn’t look that way to most people who don’t know me… Or have seen me on a sugar-high). I’m kind of a loner (almost anti-social) but I enjoy the company of my friends. I prefer talking to people on a one-to-one basis, it tends to be more honest and open. I can be a total social butterfly when there’s a need for it but at the end of the day I may feel very drained (then I’d turn anti-social and emo for a few hours). Most people think I don’t have a sense of humour because I tend to take things seriously most of the time. In truth, I have one but it’s kind of strange. My Literature teacher once told me it was dark (then again, she also once told me that if a plan “went through”, it meant that the plan had failed, so I’m not too sure she was thinking of the right word). I think it’s best described as dry or maybe a little sarcastic, if you want to describe it very simply.
Friends say that I’m really straightforward, bordering on blunt. I don’t know, it just always seems to me that getting straight to the point is better than beating around the bush. It’s probably due to this that people might find me hostile on first impression. Quite honestly, I’d rather be your friend than start a fight for nothing.
Of course if you want to get to know the real me… Talk to me directly! There’s only so much you can learn about someone from a bunch of text. Not to mention people change all the time. If you knew me 5 years ago, you can be pretty sure that I’ve changed at least a bit since then.
And there you have it. More than you needed or wanted to know about me.
Did I mention I’m battling a problem with conciseness?
