I saw one of my best friends off at the airport this morning (technically yesterday, on Sunday). She’ll be away for 6 weeks. She’ll definitely have fun and be very busy.

Although I don’t meet her very often, something feels missing now. Sigh.

I guess the dramatic goodbye we gave her made it into a bigger deal. We had to rush for the MRT, Skytrain, and hurry before she entered the secure area (it was a surprise). Good thing we managed to get there in time, or we’d have been disappointed our efforts went to waste. Her parents were equally surprised to see us turn up, haha.

I’m super-tired now. Woke up at 5am, and now it’s already 1am plus.

I bought a moisturiser by Jergens brand today. It was cheaper in a huge pump bottle compared to the squeeze type, so that’s what I got.

Jergens - Age Defying

Cos noone wants to grow up old

If it’s supposed to be “Age Defying”, why do I feel like such an Auntie slathering it onto my body?

Up to my neck in work but I went cycling with my father just now. Who says I don’t make time for exercise? I don’t like this sedentary lifestyle I’m forced to adopt because of the exams.

In a word, it was fun. We cycled for about an hour. The wind was blowing very strongly so I didn’t feel warm at all. But as I turned on the path on the way home, the wind was suddenly cut off.

HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT! I could feel the heat emanating from my body… Wah. It was like I had my own portable sauna in my shirt.

When I got off the bike, my legs hurt (and my butt too, ouch). I wish bicycle seats were more comfortable.

Cycling on the last stretch of pavement on the way home, I remembered that the pavement used to be under construction, so we would have to go one big round just to get to the park. As I was basking in gratefulness, I almost hit a fire hydrant.

Lesson of the day: Pay attention! Focus is good for you.
